Michigan Child ID Program Rileigh at Child ID Festival of the Arts 2010

Investing in a Safer World One Child at a Time

Michigan Masons believe that every child deserves to be safe. While countless children fall victim to predators each year, there are steps that parents can take to help prepare for and prevent this horrific tragedy. The Michigan Masons have stepped up to help with one of the most comprehensive child recovery and identification programs in the nation.

The Michigan Child ID Program provides parents and guardians with a “Child ID Kit” that contains all the vital information necessary to expedite law enforcement efforts to locate a missing child. The program also helps to educate families about abduction prevention and safety.

The kit includes a photo ID card, color photo, digital fingerprints, a recorded interview to capture speech characteristics, dental impressions, DNA, and a complete Amber Alert profile.

Thanks to our Foundation, this invaluable kit is provided free of charge to the public.
Michigan Child ID events are scheduled throughout the year and around the state. To

To date, more than 35,000 Michigan children have received an identification kit.
